About Me

My name is Kelly South. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s certificate in Dispute Resolution from an accredited state university. I am a mother, wife and author. 

I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) at the age of 35. Even with my educational background, I could not control or understand my Borderline Personality Disorder. Through many misdiagnoses and several failed attempts at therapy, I found a way of accepting a BPD diagnosis, finding treatment that worked for me and I overcame a common and misunderstood mental illness.

I live in the Mountain West with my husband and two children. Most of my days are mundane and I would not have it any other way.
